Central Regional PresidentSUMMARY Responsible for driving retail and small business market expansion by delivering an easy, enjoyable, and effective member experience. Collaborates and assists SVP Chief Retail Officer with creating and successfully executing regional member acquisition plans, goals, and related programs. Oversees branch managers and location sales and operational functions. In addition, responsible for managing Business Relationship Officer lending success and examines, evaluates, and authorizes or approves “small business” credit applications and recommend for approval.

Develops regional business and community relationships to increase brand awareness and member growth. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Ensures that member branch experience is easy, enjoyable, and effective by meeting or exceeding member experience score goals.

Directly responsible for creating and maintaining strong internal relationships with other credit union areas.Develops regional budget plans. Specifically, establishes by Branch Manager and Business Relationship Officer business and retail member acquisition, lending, and deposit goals. In addition, in partnership with Finance, sets regional and branch net income budgets and related fee income and operating expenses. Partners with marketing and business intelligence groups to design and execute strategies and campaign efforts supporting regional growth objectives.Drives relationship growth model by leading Branch Managers efforts to coordinate and integrate Business Relationship Officers, Mortgage Loan Officers, and Financial Advisors as a relationship management execution team.Establishes and maintains business and community relationships to increase brand awareness and generate member growth.Directly responsible for Business Relationship Officers and Branch Managers performance and work quality.May work directly with Retail or Business Members to determine credit worthiness.

Advises direct reports of external factors that may affect establishment lending policies, such as new or revised legislation and regulations. Recommends appropriate changes to credit union policies and procedures.Promotes and cross-sells other credit union products and services as appropriate Develop an understanding of Credit Union philosophy, organization, bylaws, and operational procedures and comply with the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act, AML, OFAC and all other applicable State and Federal Financial Institution Regulations. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Manages regional associates. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units.

Coordinates and collaborates with HR and training to assure associate preparedness. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Education and/or Experience Bachelors degree from a college or university; eight to ten years managing a team of financial sales professionals within a financial institution environment. Four to six years managing a team of commercial lenders.
