Responsible for the growth of the loan portfolio by development of current and new consumer and business relationships.

Meet scorecard objectives as outlined in the Retail Sales Manual and coordinate referrals to appropriate lines of business. An emphasis is placed on fully banking consumer and business customers.

Purpose driven calls should correspond with needs of customers as well as loan portfolio goals.

Maintains customer’s portfolio list and prospects at all times and prioritize customer/prospect needs.

Introductory and follow up correspondence should be prepared and sent to customers and prospects.

Reporting should be timely on calls, scorecards, exceptions and other information requests, maintaining the appropriate bank standards.

 

Requirements

Bankdesires a Commercial Lender with a minimum of 5 years experience in the greater Memphis, TN Market.

Education: A college degree.

A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating (changing behavior), influencing, or training others. External contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and sell ideas or services to others.

Must have good communication skills.
